Please see attached addendums for additional details and explanations of the new regulations. These rules may be updated and or changed as per CDC.

  • 1. SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • Only essential staff for camp will be allowed in the building. All our staff at camp and any workers in the building have been screened according to the CDC guidelines and deemed safe to work in the building. All other people/ adults including parents will not be allowed to enter the building. (see; drop off and pick up below) A daily rescreening of both children and staff will occur (see: screening details below). We will be allowing some outside entertainers to come to camp and they will be screened like everyone else before entering the building.

  • 2. INTENSIFIED CLEANING AND DISINFECTING

  • We have been continuously cleaning and disinfecting the building while the kids have been out. We have disinfected every single toy, shelf, table, chair cabinet and utensil. We have washed all the linens and anything that can fit in the washer and dryer including pillows, carpets, and dolls. We will continue to implement a higher standard of sanitizing and increasing times for handwashing for both the children and teachers. A daily cleaning schedule for toys and utensils have been posted in each classroom. A nightly cleaning and disinfecting will also take place. Additional handwashing times for minimum of 20 seconds, has been updated and added to the class routine and schedule and has been posted in each room. Naptime – the nap mat and all pillows and blankets will remain in school in large Ziplock bags and will be sent home Fridays for wash n return. Children cannot bring toys from home.

  • 3. MODIFIED SCHOOL HOURS & APPROVAL FOR ENTRY

  • We will no longer offer pre-care and after care. Camp will be from 9:00am-3:30pm with staggered drop off and pick up times to ensure a safe and organized drop off and pick up. You must follow the designated times for your group. CARPOOL LINE ONLY - We will meet you there. We will sign your child into school.

CHILD SCREENING : At any point, if any immediate family members contract COVID-19, the child will be required to stay home until the immediate family member is quarantined for fourteen days, and the child does not exhibit any symptoms for fourteen days. Camp must be informed. We ask that Grandparents or anyone with underlying medical conditions NOT be allowed to drop off or pick up your child as this is a risk to their health. We will take your child from the car – do not come out, maintain social distancing. You will need to wait while we screen your child. It will be done quick yet efficiently. Please do your own screening at home before sending your child to school. Be sure they don’t have fever, runny nose, cough, diarrhea or any communicable diseases and do not medicate your child before sending to camp. We will take your child’s temperature and check for any signs of illness. We will ask you basic questions about your child’s and family’s health. • Waiver of Liability Relating: Coronavirus/COVID-19

  • On March 11, 2020, The World Health Organization declared the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, a pandemic. COVID-19 is highly contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people over the past several weeks. Synagogue of Inverrary Chabad (the "Organization") has put precautions in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, the Organization cannot guarantee that you or your family, including your child(ren), will not become exposed to or infected with COVID-19. Further, because of the number of individuals involved in Camp Gan Israel Summer Program or other related programs and the fact that many infected individuals appear to be asymptomatic, attending this activity could increase your and your child(ren)’s risk of contracting COVID-19.

By signing this waiver, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that my child(ren) and I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19. I also acknowledge that by attending Camp Gan Israel Summer Program, such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, and/or death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at Camp Gan Israel Summer Program may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Organization employees, contractors, volunteers, members, and participants and their families.

I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren) or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense of any kind that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with my child(ren)’s attendance at the Organization or participation in Camp Gan Israel Summer Program ("Claims"). On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless the Organization, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the Organization, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any program.
